Baddaoui and Zahrani Oil Installations Project:

Hazardous Waste Management Project – Baddaoui and Zahrani Oil Installations

TOXIMEC is leading a strategic environmental project for the repacking, conditioning, and export of approximately 350 tonnes of hazardous waste stored at the Baddaoui (Tripoli) and Zahrani oil installations in Lebanon.

Conducted in full compliance with the Basel Convention and national environmental regulations, this initiative ensures the safe repacking, conditioning, and export of hazardous waste to Europe (France, Belgium, Switzerland, etc.) for final treatment adapted to the nature and physico-chemical properties of each waste stream.

Treatment solutions may include high-temperature incineration at SARPI’s specialized facilities, as well as physico-chemical neutralization, solidification, or energy recovery, depending on the characteristics of each hazardous material.

The project demonstrates TOXIMEC’s commitment to environmental safety, public health, and sustainable hazardous waste management.
